Even though it hurts like a bitch to type this, I'm still going to share, because it's a funny story.
So, I was hungover on New Years Day like so many other and I was about to enjoy a day of lying on the couch and doing nothing. I had stayed over at the party the night before and had just arrived home. As I was getting out of my car I slammed the car door....I somehow neglected to remove my right index finger from the car. I felt an incredible searing pain. It especially hurt when I tried to pull my finger out. My finger was stuck in the door. Just as I went to open the handle, I realized that it was in fact locked......
At this point, I can feel the pain growing as my finger must have started to instantly swell up. It must have taken me a good 30 seconds to get the key out of my right pocket with my left hand. Then another 30 seconds to get it out from under the car after I dropped them. But I finally got free.
I went to the Doctor and there is nothing he can do but give me some Tylenol 3 for the pain. The fingernail looks like a nice shade of black and will soon fall off.
