G'day Mate...You've been served.

Sure, this may not be directly related to the industry but...

Australia's highest court ruled that Dow Jones & Co., which publishes the Wall Street Journal and Barron's, must stand trial in Australia, not in the United States, over a story published on the Internet...making it the first real case of being tried in another country, based on that countries laws, over internet distribution.

If the Aussie who brought the case against them wins, it?s entirely possible that ?free-speech? on the Internet would take a serious blow.

But beyond that, how long before...say...obscenity laws are applied in the same manner?

Any thoughts?
