I like widescreens, but the reason I like them if for the tools I run on the sides of my screens.. for the average user, I doubt they really care... Unless the game makers start focusing on widescreen, I see no really reason to worry about it...
Thinking about aiming sites at higher resolution users anyway, they are the ones who are willing to cough up the cash..
