I keep some important stuff on it along with content so it allows you to make them one big drive or you can use one for storage and one to be a mirror of the other .. anytime you add or remove anything it mirrors the drive. If one goes bad i just swap it out and it will mirror off the other. it does cut the space in half but i won't lose anything.
