actually, after being a pink freak and doing much research - the D17 model and the one's just below it are all the same. same vacuum power etc. so i bought the pink one, so 20% proceeds go to susan g. komen breast cancer foundation. but it's one damn expensive vacuum....and VERY worth it. 
(ESPECIALLY if you know pug hair!!!)
