I bought the LinkX from jmbsoft and still working on adjustments to my design for a new website and I am quite satisfied with it.
Especially since it was $44 until xmas if you purchased something from them before.
Didn't pay much attention to other free and commercial scripts but I doubt they would make this one non competive with others.
Anyway, what was all the hype with that LinkAdmin ($400) from usefulscripts.com? As it seems, it wasn't updated since 2001.
