I wouldn't be surpised at some point in the future if geo-targeting ads come under fire. It really is false advertising. It's nothing major and there are no real damages but it is missleading none the less.
With that being said I do use it myself. But I don't use it like an idiot like most companies do. I always thought the page with 10 girls all from your town looked fake. How many people believe that, even if you are in a major city what are chances that all of the girls are from your town.
here is a free hint for you guys. Say you have 10 girls on the page. Pick the 2 best looking ones and use the person's real location (regular geo targeting). Take 2 more girls and use a random city that is close to them. Take the last 6 girls and just use random big cities.
They will still notice the girls from their city and click on them and it will be 100% more believable. It's still fake, tricking them but they wont be able to notice at least and it converts a lot better.
