Years ago I worked for Wells Fargo in one of their corporate offices. I had a hit and run occur in the parking lot about 75 feet away from the front door and the security station. Oddly enough, the security didn't know about it and the cameras didn't capture it. I discovered it when I noticed that my car alarm had been set off so I walked around the vehicle.
I started asking various people around the office and finally one of them told me they saw a guy looking at my car while the alarm was going off. Then the guy got in a car and drove away. The person showed me which car it was.
So....I went back to the security office and had them check who's car it was based on the parking permit. It belonged to one of the managers. I turned him in for hit and run and the company did NOTHING about it.
He later admitted to the accident and paid me cash to have it fixed.
What pissed me off more than anything about that was that the rent a cops flicked me shit when I asked them to review the video tapes.
