OK let's take a look at some numbers. You say you site would sell the DVD's for $500, which the other site sells for $800

$500 @ 5% = $25
$800 @ 25% = $200

But let's look at it coming from the other direction, If I made the sale at site B, and made $200 in commission, and then that customer never came back but instead went to your store, what would he have to buy from you to make me that same $200.

$200 at 5% is $4000 in sales

does is seem very likely in your mind that your average customer is going to spend $4000 in the next 3 to 5 years with you, I doubt it !!!

The key in affiliate sales are who is going to make you the most $$$'s from your traffic, not who has the best deal's for the customer!!!
