There are tons of B&B's that are pretty good... if you're looking for just a nice place to stay that's affordable. Stay at the Marriott in Napa, then just drive all over the valley to explore the Wineries.

The absolute best things to do in Napa are the following:

- Setup an appointment at Joseph Phelps to do the Wine Tasting Instruction. (They sit you down at a fancy table and really explain every little detail about the wine and how it's paired with various foods. In my opinion it shouldn't be missed.)

- Tour Silver Oak (need an appointment too)

- Go tasting at Duckhorn (no appointment necessary)

Check out some other favorite wineries... you can just drop in on most places.

These are some great restaraunts:

- The French Laundry (French, Most consider it the #1 Restaraunt in the country... Jacket Required.. It takes 2 months to the day to get an appointment and runs about $500 - $750/person depending on the wines you choose. It's a big production, but worth doing a couple times in your life!)

- Tra Vigne (http://www.travigne.cc/) Great Italian food... probably my favorite in the Napa Valley!!

- Brix (http://www.brix.com/) Really good "American food" with excellent wine..

- Terra (http://www.terrarestaurant.com/) American/Japanese food... Really tastey!

- Rutherford Grill (Great Steaks and Roasted Chicken!)

- Mustard Grill is good too
