If you have the money to waste go for it. I'm always a frugal person, cheapest son of a bitch I know so I would never get a high-end system like Bose (would get a equivalent system for 1/5 the price). I'm not much of an audiophile period (I used a 2.1 speaker system for my computer until 2005 and then I got a cheap ass 5.1 speaker system [like sub $200]). I guess someone who is into music though may benefit from having such a blinged out system.
