in my country main problem about them is service... that's why i sold it and bought toyota lc100. if U live in coutry where GOOD service is not a problem - most likelly U'll love that car.... i'd suggest range rover. or defender for extreme usage :-)
landrovers are used world wide, most can be bodged or jerry rigged to work, if you buy a diesel version you can run it on vegetable oil, servicing should not be a problem if your prepared to get your hands dirty
