i'm not 100% sure on it, so don't quote me as a legal authority, but I'm fairly sure the way canadian consent laws work 14 is age of consent until the older party's age exceeds 25 years of age or something too. at which point on a legal level the younger of two parties must be 16 or 18 or some thing like that. there used to be an "ask the rcmp" type of thing at my highschool, and the topic was raised once. this was 4 or 5 years ago tho now, so i can't remember exactly how it went, but i know for a fact it isn't as simple as once you're 14 you're free game to fuck whomever...
