Oh was that the war where Israel soldiers executed Egyptians in cold blood, and when a U.S. spy ship The Liberty was in the area they bombed and torpedoed it without mercy (even shooting life rafts and firing on defenseless victims in the water), out of fear the events may have been recorded?

Afterwards, Israel claimed it mistook the ship for the "enemy" - despite piles of evidence to the contrary - and after years of denying responsibility, then it being judged it owed millions to the victims, delayed paying as long as possible before giving a token amount when Carter shamelessly agreed to a buyout?

No, Israel isn't the cause of the world's problems but anyone with a brain knows they get away with atrocities that other countries would be condemned and held accountable for. That's what you get for having friends in high places, i.e. the U.S. government.

Really, is anyone even remotely surprised the Middle East people in general despise Israel and the U.S.? The truth is, the contempt is well-deserved.
