One only needs to go back to the day Israel declared independence in 1948 and were attacked by the surrounding arab countries. Following that:
1956 - 1957 Suez war
1967 6-day war
1973 Yom Kippur war
In each of these conflicts Israel defended their territory (regardless if it was ill-gotten). These are the wars i was referring to. The arab countries surrounding Israel have tried and have as yet failed to reclaim the land.
It is pointless to argue whether it was valid for Israel to claim its independence, for nothing will change the fact that Israel exists. As long as they defend the land they will continue to exist. They may have been legislated into existence but they will not be legislated out of existence.
