Whether there is an all powerful force out there somewhere giggling at us slowly fucking ourselves in the ass - well that is possible but in no way proveable. It is also more believable than ANY of the current popular religions from Islam to Roman Catholosism.
So Jesus, or someone like the description in the Bible's New Testament of such a man, probably did live. Was he a big, all powerful immortal - doubtfully. I certainly don't think so.

Yeah his name was John the Baptist.
Jesus was a disciple of John the baptist, after his beheading he took over.
There is historical writings of John the Baptist being crucified and his beheading as well. But NONE of a Jesus being cricified, and they kept records.
One is fact, one was made up to 'keep the faith'
