Back in 1984 my parents divorced, and my dad left the state. He only had to pay $300 a month in Child Support to my mom for the 3 of us.

She was working 2 jobs, and going to school to get her nursing degree.

Well, it wasn't to fun, and we were down and out, hanging on by the skin of our teeth just to keep our home.

One night, during christmas, we came home, and their was 5 boxes of groceries, clothes, and toys on our porch. My mom lost it, she was in tears, thanking everyone she could think of.

I found out my senior year in high school what family did that four us, and I was able to return the deed to them, by assisting their mother in a time of need, as their father was lost in a car accident. It has stuck out in my mind, since then, and I have installed a sense of helping into my children as well. Every year, my kids take some of their allowance money, and buy 1 or 2 toys, and we give to the Toys for Tots program. I also assist once a week at the local homeless shelter.

I will tell you know, you are a great person, and I for one appreciate what you are doing for those 5 families, and they will never forget you. I promise
