my bed is 180x220cm
that's like 1" less wide, and almost 3" longer than a california king
I'm a bit over 6 feet tall
Dunno how it's in the US, but here once you get something bigger than what's considered "normal" ... prices go up ALOT for the bed and sheets.
I like to have a good amount of private space in my bed ... certainly during the summer.
