I'm going to do a variation of things: tin foil under the tree skirt (maybe that will help), double sided tape on the branches inside the tree where he likes to climb, and anytime I see him near the tree when I'm awake, I'll blast him with a squirt of water to spook him. Hopefully I can train him in a few days!! *crosses fingers*
