I suppose the good is you'll never find your content posted on freeloader content sharing sites (torrents, etc) or outright pirated by anyone.
The bad? My situation may have been different to most webmasters as I was selling downloaded videos to be owned by the customer indefinitely instead of the limited term "rental" it was more designed for. Any time the customer updated their operating system or in some cases even just made some minor change to their system the DRM license was errased and nothing worked any more. The license backup system was not at all user friendly and I in fact never did figure out how to use it.
Things may have changed since I used DRM networks several years ago but my experience with it was not so good.
