I've thought about this before. I kind of agree with you there, but Tora Bora wasn't that long after 9/11 and there were a lot of casualties among our afghan allies in the Tora Bora fight. If hundreds or even thousands of Marines got killed at that time it could have seriously hurt Americans moral when we were still quite traumitized by 9/11. Then again maybe we should have just sent in the Marines anyway. My
