Only a gutty feeling, but agree and doubt it. It's not in his modus operandi so far, tho he has assaulted people, but suspect he's too bright to attempt to murder his lawyer, or, on his mind games to leave the impression that it's too absurd.
It's wide open on possibilities till there is an investigation. Cortes is not exactly a saint in Mexico. Cohen has plenty enemies - and "good friends" who are crooks. Stuff has been happening in the background while Cohen was incarcerated. People get greedy when the bank manager goes on holiday and leaves the safe keys behind. It could be others lining Cohen up for a fall - the possibilities are endless.
Tho, somehow smell this is going to be just as colorful as Cohen's life - even tho he may not be involved directly
