it's really simple actually, the government get money from your taxes already to fight these things at state and federal levels. then as a kicker they get to keep all the free houses, boats, money, cars, aircraft, ect... that they seize which when they auction it off gives them what??? MORE MONEY!!! so why would you try to make something legal that already gives you a ton of money? no to mention the fact that all the systems would have to be changed. followed by less money needed for prisons for drug charges, less cops needed, DEA would be no more so you can't justify that money..... Do I really need to keep going?
