And two voters voted Florida #5. One of those voters had Ohio State, Michigan and Wisconsin 1, 2, 3 in his poll. Big 10 bias? Overall, I believe there were only 6 voters in the Harris poll who did not vote Florida/Michigan 2 or 3. The Harris poll has not exactly been a cash cow in sports IQ either. There are a few recognizable names in the group, but most of the voters are journalists just like the AP poll. They even have some CEO's of companies, like McCormick (the spice company).
The coaches poll had everyone voting Florida/Michigan 2 or 3.
I do not agree with the whole opinion polling for a national championship game either. It taints the title. Yet, the reason they have so many voters is to lessen the impact of the idiot voters.
