I'm a big pussy when it comes to any type of pain, I can take a piercing no problem but a tatt is different. So when I got the tatt on my leg I used Emla. It doesn't take the pain away per say but it just dulls it a bit. However the larger the tattoo is the less it works because as you're getting worked on it starts to wear off.
