lol it's like an optical illusion, it's always that big but like you guys said once the fat pad shrinks a little more than usual shows... giving it the appearance of being bigger when in fact it was that size the entire time just tucked back in the fat pad thing.
if this made the headlines of newspapers across the country every overweight guy would be motivated to jump up and exercise
