Like I said in the other thread our producer friend is doing movies ( Like Vencie Underground) crappy cop movie $500k made 2.4 mil in sales..rent it tonight at Blockbuster.
When a movie is in the $200k-$500K..crappy story , corny idea, will still make it's money back if the production value is there.
A movie $1 million movie is the same as a $20 million..the difference is the casts pay salary.
Austin Powers 1 was considered a flop when it came out, not until after it hit DVD, is when it made real money and spawned the franchise, with the main producer being Demi Moore
