Would it be wrong to get my wife an XBox 360 if she doesn't like playing video games but it would make me happy? I have enough stuff on my list that I want from her and I don't want to go without the other stuff for the Xbox 360 - just kidding!
But seriously, on a true story note, a buddy of mine, for Christmas a few years ago got his pregnant wife a scale. His logic was: a) They didn't have a lot of money to spend on presents and b) They needed a scale. Man was she pissed off - her exact quote was "you've got to be fucking kidding me." The funny part is he didn't see this would be a problem.
