no hate at all - just clarifying: do we talk about shooting a scene for 1000 or selling it? i was talking about selling. and i assume you don't sell your stuff for the same price the production costs either
**** there are guys claiming they can sell HC bg for a grand however I don't think they can constantly deliver quality product with reputable docs . . putting up a website and telling the world you're a content shooter is lots different than dealing with content production and sales and a day to day basis for 7 years

**** very true . . your cost are lower than mine I would imagine however I have no idea what a gallon of milk is in yer area or how much rent is, or the median income . . my cost are sky high in every aspect of living and shooting in LA. my production cost have gone up about 200% in the last 3 years
but nice to see that you can confirm that we work more or less at the same costs - just to answer Wantons question about "american" prices
oh - and one more point: all people over here get paid in Euro - most of my customers pay in USD. so i lost about 20% over the last 3 years just because of that
