I dont want to attempt to do that myself. I am not THAT comfortable with Linux that I am willing to try to write custom drivers and make stuff work. I have heard people spend weeks trying to get everything to work when they install a lappy and get everything working as it should.

I agree, for the longest time I resisted buying a laptop but eventually I just couldn't get buy without having e-mail and access to the net and my files and shit with me at all times. I still hate laptops for the most part, right now what really pisses me off is the fact that if I want anything more than a 120 GB HDD, I have to fucking buy a top-notch system and pay through the nose and then I still cant get more than about 200 GB, which is enough room for an OS and like five porn videos, some music and some programs and thats it.
When desktop drives are at 750GB, I don't think a 500GB laptop is such a big request, even if it was two separate drives. Toshiba has a laptop with two HDDs, but they are both 120GB drives. What are these people thinking when they design these things? I mean I can understand having a entry level model, but Jesus Christ, even their "high performance" models are still entry level on the specs department.
