I could care less if he is gay, and my personal like or dislike never comes into play, however trust is a major issue.
When making a sale like this confidential information will be revealed to the prospective buyer. If I can't trust that the information will remain confidential then I have not done my job. People come to me asking for assistance, I don't seek them out. There is a reason for this, whether you want to accept it or not.
I have had 10-12 potential inquiries that have gone on via e-mail and ICQ. I stated in my initial post, "Serious inquiries should be directed to me at
[email protected], unless you have my ICQ."
It is a valid way of figuring out who is really serious.
I have brokered the sale of many programs, domains, and sites, and not once has the sale culminated as the result of discussions done in public on any message board.
If he had contacted me in the manner requested he may have gotten more information from me, instead, he tells me to email him and doesn't even reveal his email address.
Sounds like a real serious prospect, doesn't it?
