I don't understand the thought processes of almost every post here. I love Quebec but some there have a weird view of independance.
I wonder why they insist on being independant to practise they're uniqueness, when Canada is one of the most special countries on the planet BECAUSE of the english/french co-existance. Someone said that was a stupid idea?
I think every province should come up and say "I am a nation". It would back the prime minister in saying this and take the wind out of the sails of the separatists thinking that this is some sort of God send.
British Columbia is a nation too. We have always been this way, and always will be. The closest people we have as friends in the country is Alberta and the Yukon, and an similarity with the maritimes. Quebec is smack in the middle of things with the economic power of leading governments. Get over yourselves. There is bigger fish to fry.
And the stupid redneck from Alberta spouting that racist shit.. you're an idiot. Go back to the moonshine and inbreeding.
