What we have always done was backed them into a corner.. grabbed them by the tail and put them in a trash can.. then took them across town and dropped them off..

they are not the nicest things in the world either.. they have big sharp teeth and will bite and hiss .. just distract him and grab his tail.. Arkansas coons will also kick your dog or cats ass.. they are mean mean little monsters.
