Do what I do. Keep in mind that I LOVE my ePassporte.
Don't keep money on it. When I need to pay someone I put money on it. If money comes in, I spend it immediately.
Very little chance of getting money sniped that way.
Edit: In fact, I often send money to the people in my sig. (Shameless plug)
