Altman had a quirky but brilliant method for creating uniquely interesting movies.
M*A*S*H is of course a classic, and he had so many other great ones...A Wedding, Nashville, and 3 Women were among my favorites.
He will long be studied by students of filmmaking.
RIP Robert Altman...
