OK, if you want some ideas, here they are. In Vancouver, there are literally tens of thousands of Korean students who come here for months at a time to study English. Their parents cough up good money for them to make the journey...
Maybe find out what they are coming here to learn if anything beyond the obvious and try to replicate it there.
Maybe do a "tie-in" with a school here so they do half the course in Korea and then half in Vancouver so they get to experience North America...that they are dying to see.
Combine ESL with outdoor adventure stuff if you do something in Vancouver as it is a huge draw.
My idea was to buy one of the run down welfare hotels downtown here in Vancouver, and turn it into the city's first ESL dorm. The city imposed strict restrictions against conversions of low income housing units so i am sol but i thought of neat side ventures like one of those coupon books geared to esl student needs, wkend adventure trips... There is huge huge money if you have a good angle as they come by the thousands every few months.
