I cant believe i read your whole post but i did and alot of the things you say suck but buisness is not always easy. Secondly a non compete is about as worthless as the paper its written on. If he was bought out and payed for his buisness then he would have trouble working till it was up.. but if it was a employement non compete they are worthless. By law no one can keep you from putting food on your table unless they payed you money for the non compete....
