Please tell me, all knowing one, what I should have done:

Should I only post things that I actually go out and report on my own, interviewing witnesses, reviewing trial records, etc, etc? I would, but I have neither the time nor the budget. This is not CNN, I don't have 600 bureaus worldwide at my disposal.

I grabbed bits and pieces of the story and then made my commentary, just like goddamn near every other blogger does. Don't you ever accuse me of plagiarism again unless you have some fucking proof, you fucking fuck.

And yes, I linked to the post on my blog instead of the Indianapolis Star with the intent of putting my URL out in one more place to give the Google bot something to munch on. Its called marketing, maybe you have heard of it.

I would have posted that story regardless of if I had my blog or not, because I found it interesting. So you can go finish fucking yourself now.

Thanks. Its a stock template very lightly customized. Its quite lightweight and was pretty easy to make it do what I wanted it to. This is my first time messing with Wordpress, I used to use Blogger but I have gotten tired of their constant outages (inability to publish via FTP combined with nonsensical error messages) and total lack of comprehensive functionality. My first impressions of Wordpress is quite good.
