Put it another way, there are millions of surfers and a few thousand webmasters. If your product or service is aimed at surfers, can it really make sense to put time, energy and money, into stealing from webmasters instead of staying focused on your primary market?
There are too many people at the top of this business, who despite achieving more than they could have anticipated a few years ago, still have remarkably limited ambitions and lack any vision of this industry's real potential. That is the only reason some resort to taking crumbs from other peoples' plates.
