its not as loud as the xbox360....but my dolby digital is always pounding so loud you would never notice either way so I guess a slight edge to ps3 in that department but it doesnt really effect me one way or another.
if you think ps3 is just gonna kill xbox go play gears of war....insane, one of the best games I have ever played. Tiger Woods 06 is the same on both, another good one
