i dont think he is hoping that it will blow over. he has been the promo poster child here for a long time. i think he is really lost now and trying to grasp the fact that he has finally done some real damage to years of being the good guy.
.... and he had the chance to be the good guy. instead, he took that opportunity to confirm they were stealing, that they'll "look into it" and that you're an asshole for listening to anything about it.
the best is today... after a day or two of testing the water... posting pics, bumping threads and trying to hope it will all blow over and he can get past it, he starts asking all the ass lickers what they want for christmas and they cant wait to add to the wish list... for a gift from the guy who is robbing them. unreal. people in this biz suck.
