I have solid maple cabinets and they were (for easy math) $250 a linear foot. If the cabinets they are pricing at atleast 1/2 solid wood then they are in the realm of reason.
Someone mentioned Home Depot... Those are not quality cabinets! Kraft Maid is not used in fine homes
