A Belgian court has ruled that a 37-year-old man who posted photos of himself having sex with numerous animals could not be prosecuted because animal sex is not an offence. The judge stated that it was a loophole in the law.
The court did fine him 500 euros for public decency violations. The incidents took place over two years
when the defendant was working at an animal sanctuary.
