i forget the name of the pickup but i have a guild jumbo and the pickup (aftermarket) is under the bridge and it is bad ass. smokes any (sonically) ovation or takamine ... could be the pickup not necessarily the guitar. its not mounted in the soundhole like some acoustic pickups, very thin under the bridge cant see it unless your changing strings - WOW MOMMA
i suppose might sound just as good on a cheapo acoustic (many of which do play nice - i play my sigma (martin cheapo) more than my guild jumbo
