I am working with my heart transplant coordinator to write this letter this week. I then give it to my coordinator and she will deliver it to the family. At that point it is up to them to decide if they want to contact me. Most of the time they do not but that is OK i just want the family to know it did not go to waste and is with someone who truly cherishes a second chance at lifE. It is tough when you look at it from both sides not to mention my little sister is 31 same age as the heart I received so that really hits home for me. That a life was lost so that my could continue.

Late,

Are you a donor? Have a heart and help someone in need. Go to the DMV and be sure you are a donor, it saves lives!!!!
