I absolutely loathe Sony. I bash them every chance I get. Yes, I own a PS2 and a PSP. They collect dust while I play my 360 and Nintendo DS almost daily. Even if you don't want to play online, the 360 is still a much better console...especially considering it will cost you about half as much to play.
By the way, why don't you play online? Games get a little old after you've played through them a couple of times. A lot of games are absolute garbage in single player mode but offer some of the best multiplayer gaming available on a console (Battlefield 2: Modern Combat).
