Just live and conduct your affairs as if someone is watching what you are doing because they are. Or could get information about you because they can. Unfortunately this is the price to pay to live in the techno society we have created. Everything is now an open book.
I don't think there is a store you can go to anymore where you aren't being videotaped, so that alone is a creepy thought. NSA or an affiliate is intercepting all the e-mails, phone calls, cell calls, packet traffic, faxes, im's, etc. So we're all under the microscope. The only saving grace is its information overload to the point of absurdity for the intel community. So most communications are never seen by human eyes.
