atleast with the m3, you can easily tell a lot of the differences from a normal 3 series BMW. I walked by an m6 today on the street, even after test driving one, and wrote the thing off on my mind as a 645, it wasnt until I was walking back, that I saw the M badge on it.

Yeah, if you get the M6 rims on a normal 6 series, both will look very similar. But you inside will feel the difference, so will people driving around you.
