While I was in NYC this week I decided to take some pictures. What a fantastic city.

My plan was to go to TImes Square late at night for some cool timed exposures but just as I was getting things right the NYPD came over and told me you need a permit to use a tripod in the city. I of course picked up my tripod and went to the hotel (can't do timed exposures without the tripod).

Turns out the permit is free and I could have faxed it in for approval the day before shooting. Oh well next time I am getting the permit
