anybody think this is for real?

can you live with your brain outside the skull? did they push his brains back in and put some kind of steel plate and sew the skin together?

i was watching some educational/medical channel and they had some guy getting a hair transplant, not those plugs you see on all over, it was bizarre, they put some kind of balloon or something under the skin of this guy's skull and expand it, i mean REALLY expand it, your head looks monstrous, the top of your head is like a huge balloon, and the guy lives like this for months while his skin stretches, the effect is that the side parts of your head where you have hair stretches so it covers the top of your head.
End result looked ok but no better than hair plugs.

well, these images are going to stay with me for a good long while.
